IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to changes to the requirements for the 2012 Fishing Licenses. It is highly recommended that you purchase your 2012 Fishing license from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Canadian Tire or their agents before arriving at the Alexandria Ice Fishing Derby to avoid long line ups and delays.

You will be able to purchase a license on site, but the requirements and procedures have changed. All applications for a Fishing License are conducted electronically, Credit Cards are the only recommended form of payment. We will not accept cash, cheques, or money orders for a fishing License. All purchases for a Fishing License are paid directly to the Ministry of Natural Resources.

As such please expect long delays in processing.

So please, to ensure you enjoy your day at the Alexandria Ice Fishing Derby for 2012. It is highly recommended that you purchase your Fishing License in advance.

6. The first fish caught weighing from two to three pounds wins $200. Sponsored by B&B Food Market, Alexandria, On.
7. The first fish caught weighing from three to four pounds wins $300. Sponsored by Glengarry Windows & Doors, Alexandria, On.

Avis important
Afin d'obtenir un permis de pêche, certains changements s'imposent pour l'année 2012 . Les permis seront vendus sur place, mais à la demande du Minist�re, seule la carte de crédit sera acceptée et le tout fait par Internet. Alors la procédure sera plus longue. Afin d'éviter une longue attente , il serait préférable d'acheter votre permis de pêche à l'avance. Les permis sont vendus dans la plupart des magasins Canadian Tire, en Ontario.
